Volume size information in Explorer

When opening the Win2000 Explorer in the folder mode (left pane - folder structure / right pane - folders/files) and selecting a volume, the right pane shows on the left side the volume size (numbered and graphically). In the WinXP Explorer, I could not detect this feature.
Was this omitted in WinXP?
Any ideas?
Thanks,

When selecting "My Computer" in the left pane you get the different volumes on the right side.
To get the "free space/total size" info you have to hover over the drives.
To see this info all the time you have to click right into the screen and select view > details.
For the graphical info you need to right-click on a volume and select its properties.

That's what I have.

Ok, that's how far I came.
There's apparently no Win2000-like split of the right pane, where the graphical cake is represented at all times, i.e. without selecting "Properties".
Thanks!

... besides that ... the lower status bar disappeared as well. With Win2000, it shows the free capacity of the drive, the number & size of selected files a.s.o. very useful, but apparently missing within WinXP

I saw that Win2003 Server shows the bottom status bar. The option can be enabled in WinXP with the menu "View" -> "Status Bar"
