Hi all,
As you perhaps noticed I am playing with the box a bit and on this 7050 there is a certain callthrough function.
Einstellungen -> Telefonie -> Rufumleitung -> Duchwahl (Callthrough)
In short: you assign the service to a called "Rufnummer", assign a code, the "Rufnummer" to be used after and you're done!
Call the number from f.e. you're Mobile phone, enter the code, dial a "0" -then you'll hear a continuous dialtone- followed by the international format number i.e. 0031xxxxxxxxxx.
This way I can call from my mobile phone (with unlimited calls in LUX) to my faxline, then over the internet with Voipbusterpro for 3,9ct per call to f.e. Holland!
Not bad...
Fritz!box possibilities
Indeed very interesting.
What I miss is the feature to make a "déviation à distance", i.e. you call from your mobile and you activate a deviation inside your FRITZ!Box for a defined number. Situation ... you leave during a SB and notice this only when sitting in the car. You do this and all calls to your gome number are deviated to your mobile number.
Unfortunately not possible AFAIK.

I found this string:
<Call Trough-Nr> p <PIN> p 0*21*<Zielrufnummer>*<MSN># Aktivieren/Einrichten
<Call Trough-Nr> p <PIN> p 0*21**<MSN># Deaktivieren
Also try here, and here ... On IPPF, the holy grail for hardcore Fritz!box programmers.
And this a few days after I thought it was a pretty cool thing to figure out this call through! Half Germany is using it already..

Re: Fritz!box possibilities
I have since some time a problem with portforwarding on the Fritz!box 7050:
"FEHLER: Eintrag kollidiert mit interner Regel"
As soon as I try to modify the ports/rules, I get this warning and am unable to change anything.
After leaving it for some time, i looked into it again and found a possible solution on the IPPF forum.
Apparently it is because after a firmware update the own created portforwardings are not what it should be according the new firmware. So one says to open it, the other says the port should be closed. Now with the help from an editor it should be possible to delete the double entries and re-enter the rules via the WebIF.

I'm going to try it once i'm back in LUX, but it seems promising.

Re: Fritz!box possibilities
Thanks for the description as well as the link!
Since many of us have FBs, it might hit another user. However most have FB7170.
Bye,

Re: Fritz!box possibilities
So now I only used the FBEditor to read the data from the FB, thought to check via the WebIF which ports I actually forwarded, and all at once everything works normal: no fault message; i can add/delete and modify to my liking!
Strange, but ok.
So I only used the FBEditor to retrieve the settings, and that's it.
If you're not smart you have to be lucky..

Re: Fritz!box possibilities
Tried FBEditor ...
Can finally edit the order of port forwardings now
Thanks!
